Black Walnut Salve

About Black Walnut from Woodland Essence:

Black walnut hulls are gathered fresh in the fall, when still a yellowish green color. During the next steps of processing, the hulls turn a dark brown-black due to oxidation. These hulls are high in antioxidants, & a good source of quercetin, beta-carotene, plant acids, tannins, omega-fatty acids flavonoids, minerals, B-vitamins, vitamin C and a host of other constituents.

Once extraction takes place in organic olive oil, this rich dark oil is blended with golden Calendula oil & fragrant beeswax. The final salve is used externally to support the skin barrier.
